2016 Food Safety Manager Classes

This is the registration form for the Golden Gate Restaurant Association's Food Safety Manager class. The 1-Day Course, which includes a text book and exam, is available to members for $95 and nonmembers for $165. Class begins at 8:30am and instruction runs until 2pm. The exam follows the instruction. There is also an exam only option.
California Retail Food Code requires, "Food facilities that prepare, handle, or serve un-prepackaged, potentially hazardous food, except temporary food facilities, shall have an owner or employee who has successfully passed an approved accredited food safety manager certification examination. There shall be at least one food safety certified owner or employee at each food facility." Certification is valid for (5) years.
Cancellations or changes confirmed (2) weeks prior to the registered class date will be accepted, but subject to a withdrawal fee of $25 for GGRA members and $35 for nonmembers. GGRA will not refund any portion of payment for cancellations made after this date or for "no-show" reservations. Attendee subsitutions will be accepted. This is not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. However, expenses incurred to maintain or improve skills required by an individual in his/her employment or business are tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor.
